PAM-2500 and PAM-2500/B

RED Version (PAM-2500)

The PAM-2500 chlorophyll fluorometers employ a flexible optical fiber which guides modulated measuring light as well as actinic light to the sample, and collects the chlorophyll fluorescence. Red (630 nm) LEDs are used as the sources for measuring and actinic light.

The use of power LEDs results in high actinic intensities of up to 2000 μmol m-2 s-1 and single turn-over flash intensities up to 125,000 μmol m-2 s-1. Additionally, the PAM-2500 features blue actinic light up to 800 μmol m-2
s-1 and an efficient far red light source.

BLUE Version (PAM-2500/B)

The PAM-2500/B chlorophyll fluorometer differs from the standard PAM-2500 chlorophyll fluorometer by the use of blue (455 nm) instead of red measuring light. Also, blue power LEDs (465 nm) replace the red ones as sources for actinic light as well as for multiple and single turn-over flashes. The PAM-2500/B lacks a second actinic light source.
